Our Story

Comaea's beginnings lie with Swedish entrepreneur Per Palmér. As a human resource strategy consultant with personal management experience, Per understood that HR functions and line managers needed effective tools to realise the full potential of their organisation’s human capital and to achieve business growth.

In starting Comaea, Per sought to provide a simple yet effective solution for human capital manage- ment.

Our clientele now ranges from small and mid-size enterprises to MNCs across various industries. Our global headquarters are in Stockholm while our Asia-Pacific headquarters are in Singapore.

Behind Comaea is a team of passionate people who recognise the value of competence management in supporting the core business of every organisation.

Board of Directors

• Lars Öjefors, Chairman. Dr Lars Öjefors spent 10 years as the president of the Swedish Industrial Development Fund before retiring in 2005. Dr Öjefors also held key senior management positions during 16 years at Axel Johnson AB and is an Associate Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology.
• Kenneth Lundin, Board member. Kenneth is a 10-year Microsoft veteran, having led the Windows expansion into Asian emerging markets and later was responsible for Microsoft’s mobility business in Western Europe. Today Kenneth is CEO of the telecom company Momail.
• Per Palmér, Board member and founder. Per has 20 years of experience in the field of strategic competence management. He founded Prohunt (intellectual capital management) in 1991, 3S (a survey tool company) in 2002 and Comaea in 2006.
• Malin Schmidt, Board member and CEO. Malin has held a number of senior line management positions and has extensive international business experience with a strong focus on business development and innovation.
